I'm passionate about Straight A's

I'm running to make education ACCOUNTABLE to parents, ADAPTABLE to students' needs, ACCESSIBLE to the public, and that provides AUTONOMY for teachers.

Accountable

As the lowest funded district in the lowest funded state, we have to stretch our education dollars and pennies. I vow to dig through documents and budget reports to make sure our priorities are reflected in our budget.

Adaptable

Too often we can be slow to adapt to the needs of individual children. We need to work together to find solutions so that every child is learning to the highest level of their ability.

Accessible

As your school board member, I will work to find solutions. I commit to hold quarterly meetings with constituents to hear ideas so that we can work together to give our children the best educational experience possible.

Autonomy

We need to put phenomenal teachers in the classroom and then get out of their way! Teachers need to not have their hands tied by endless mandates, but given the freedom to meet the needs of the students in their classrooms.
